About
We are a group from Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS working in the medical device development looking for PPI representatives with experience of finger fracture.
We would like to hold a one-off videoconference for around 30 minutes to get some feedback on a new external fixator design. The purpose of the session would be to collect some "stakeholder requirements" for the external fixator. An important part of our design process is collecting together the needs and wishes of all involved parties and we are looking for the views of people who would potentially receive this treatment or their carers.
The session will include a brief presentation of the new device idea and some questions about it and your previous experience. We are really keen to hear about your experience with finger fractures (particularly if you have been treated with an external fixator before) and what your thoughts are on this new design.
