The National Innovation Centre for Ageing is working with AR Ventures to reimagine current design approaches to mobility aids.
A mobility aid is a device designed to assist in walking or otherwise improve the mobility of people with a mobility issue. This can include:
- Walking sticks
- Walking/Zimmer frames
- Rollator
- Wheelchair
- Mobility scooter
And any other aids which help a person move around.
