About
Study recruiting parents of autistic children who have accessed mental health services for support with anxiety.
The study is interested in hearing about the experiences of children and parents who have accessed support and treatment for anxiety. By learning about these experience, we hope to pull together a list of adjustments and adaptations that services should regularly be making to meet the needs of autistic young people. We hope that this will help to improve access and effectiveness of mental health services for autistic children and young people.
Participation will involve taking part involve a one-off focus group with other parents of autistic children. If participants would like to further discuss the project prior to the focus group a telephone or online discussion can take place.
The focus group will take approximately one hour and will take place over Microsoft Teams.
