About

We are part of a group of scientists and clinicians from Newcastle University and Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS developing a mobile app for early detection of heart failure in primary and secondary care. We are looking for PPI representatives living with heart failure.

We have developed a survey to collect information that will help shape the mobile app to meet the needs of the patient. We would like our PPI representatives to complete the survey and then attend a one-off video conference for approximately one hour to gather feedback on the survey. This is an important part of the design process and by gathering this feedback, we will then adapt the mobile app to provide both tailored and comprehensive assistance to patients.

Participants will be sent the survey to complete and return to the group one week prior to the online workshop. The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. The one-off workshop will start with a brief presentation of the mobile app and then we will ask some questions and gather your thoughts on the survey and your previous experiences with mobile apps for health along with any adjustments you would expect to see. We look forward to your participation in the development of the mobile app.
